Pulse continues to expand, at home and abroad

Pulse's rapid growth is continuing, reflected by an expansion of personnel and facilities both in the UK and across the world.

Pulse’s rapidly growing activity continues and as a result personnel, facilities and organizational structure are all evolving rapidly. On the personnel front the number of Pulse employees has grown from 17 to 57 since 2010, with offices now in Woking, Aberdeen, Houston, Rio and, most recently, Singapore. The manufacturing facility in the UK has recently expanded from 3,250 to 7,973 sq ft with newly refurbished R&D and production facilities. This development will further strengthen Pulse’s R&D strategy, ensuring we maintain our position as a technological leader in providing monitoring services.

In Singapore, January 2013 saw Pulse expand its presence in Asia Pacific with the appointment of Steven Gauthier as Business Development Manager for the region. Pulse has seen growing demand from the APAC region, particularly for mooring line and pipeline monitoring systems. 2013 already sees us delivering a MoorASSURE system for monitoring mooring lines on an FPSO in China, as well as providing our SpanASSURE system for the monitoring of a pipeline span in Western Australia. Pulse is looking to build on what is already a strong Acteon presence in the region by working closely with our sister companies throughout the Asia-Pacific.
