Busy Times for Pulse Structural Monitoring Delivering NX2 Based Riser Monitoring Systems and Digital Services

It's been a busy October, November and December (2020) for Pulse Structural Monitoring.

Pulse has been hard at work delivering multiple monitoring systems based on its new INTEGRIpod NX2 platform. The equipment has been under production and test at our UK and US bases for the last few months and has now been dispatched to various locations around the globe, including China, Guyana, Brazil, Nigeria, GoM and UKNS.

The projects include:

  • Lazy Wave Steel Catenary Production Riser (SCR) Monitoring System
  • Jack-up vessel position and subsea riser fatigue monitoring
  • Vessel position monitoring system
  • Drillship metocean monitoring

These solutions are application specific but ALL designed to capture data across structures in the marine environment to determine how the asset is performing against its environment. Systems provide the full data capture capability including edge and cloud-based system architecture.

The Pulse global commissioning teams have already started the offshore phase of these projects. When complete, we will transition into the Digital Services phase. Services include fully integrated, digital, cloud-based data insight platforms, including edge-based processing capability (on customer’s assets) and through cloud-based software. On board graphics are intuitive and user-friendly.

These Digital Services are provided over the long term, with periodic offshore trips to service the subsea equipment and provide routine health-checks on topside systems.
