Wilson Chuan Keat Foo Sales EngineerThe start of a new venture is always a challenge, but since our new Asia sales office opened earlier this year we have already made significant progress.

Chuan Keat Foo has just joined us as Sales Engineer and is quickly settling into the Asian oil and gas community.

With the continued support of fellow Acteon company 2H Offshore, we are thrilled to have secured three major monitoring projects with Murphy Oil, Kangean Energy and CNOOC.

We are now looking to help more Asian clients reduce risk and enhance operational efficiency through our state-of-the-art structural monitoring.

This vast region, incorporating Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Vietnam, Thailand, India and Australia, is seeing rapid growth in deepwater oil and gas activity. The number of new fixed platforms is forecast to grow, as is the number of floating platforms with FPSOs.

However, new growth presents new challenges, as operators encounter steeply fluctuating depths in the enormous shifting salt formation, miles below the ocean floor. Remote field locations and difficult currents mean experience is key and effective monitoring paramount.

Pulse brings to Asia the benefit of 13 years' experience, gained in more than 250 monitoring campaigns worldwide. This expertise ensures our clients can enjoy peace of mind, knowing their offshore assets are safeguarded against whatever unexpected conditions this part of the world might throw at them.
