![]() Dynamic Curvature Sensor ![]() Strain Sensor INTEGRI™ Sensors are specifically packaged or designed for measuring motion and strain on subsea structures. Motion measurement allows the user to capture the global response of a subsea structural system such as those induced by VIV or wave motion. Strain measurement enables users to obtain detailed fatigue history of a structure at a specific location. 2H utilizes the latest motion sensor technologies in the world and selects the most suitable accelerometers, gyroscopes and inclinometers for measuring motion of various subsea structures. Some sensors are chosen to meet the stringent requirement for low power consumption while meeting measurement specification and others are selected for delivering super high precision. The motions sensors are packaged into standard modules, completed with signal conditioning and filtering capabilities, which are then interfaced to 2H standard data loggers. 2H INTEGRI subsea strain sensors are specially designed for measuring strain on subsea structures. 2H offers in-situ strain gauge installation services and supplies special strain sensors. Foil-type strain gauge is a widely accepted strain measurement device throughout all industries with extensive track record. 2H in-situ strain gauge installation utilizes 2H proprietary field-proven material systems and installation procedures to achieve a highly reliable sealing against water and moisture ingression. The suitability of our strain gauge installation is 3000 m water depth. 2H strain gauge installation service also covers fibre-optical strain gauge installation and setting up complete fibre-optical strain monitoring systems. The system is primarily used for topside applications. The special INTEGRI subsea strain sensors are uniquely-packaged, fully sealed and pressure balanced allowing application at depths in excess of 3000m with an operation life up to 25 years. They are manufactured from highly corrosion resistant materials and can be fitted to subsea structures such as risers in a short period of time. All sensors operate on ultra low power and are designed to interface directly with an INTEGRIpod™ for standalone or real-time recording. Additionally, they may be connected to an ROV retrievable INTEGRIpod™ using a ROV-mateable connection allowing the INTEGRIpod™ to be changed out while leaving the sensors attached to the riser. ROV installable/replaceable sensors are also available. |
